The Girls U15 were the bridesmaids of the National Cup. Since the teams creation they have made the semi-finals every year. And every year they have fallen short, except this year. As the saying might go, "Always a bridesmaid and finally a bride".

This year the girls began their National Cup run with focus and determination. As always their game was fast, technical where they dominated possession.

The first two rounds saw a goal differential of 8 to 1 in favor of CZ Elite. Their play was tuned and ready for the knock out rounds which came to a head in the round of 16 verses a solid Surf Blue team. The girls got straight to business in this tie and dominated possession and the run of play which finally resulted in the game winner late in the first half. With an abundance of chances in the second half nothing seemed to find the net and the 1-0 score line held.

The round of 8 resulted in a tie with old rivals West Coast F.C. This time the girls proved too strong in their most overwhelming display to date, and a 5-1 score line.

The semi-finals were a special gem verses Legends F.C. The girls had recently struggled with Legends in the Far West Regional League and now was time for payback. The girls dominated the run of play with an elegant display and advanced to the finals with a 2-1 win.

The plate was set for the final. And this was the correct final, Surf verses CZ Elite. The match opened up with a frantic pace and play from end to end. Within 10 minutes Temia Hassan found the back of the net for the days first goal. The girls continued to move the ball and attack and 10 minutes later Victoria Camaj placed a beautiful shot sweeping in from the left. With the game at 2 - 1 with only minutes left before the final wistle, Surf was pressing and firing shots from all directions. On a fast transition out from goal, and through the middle, Tamia found herself facing 4 Surf defenders. Her pace proved to be too much as she sliced through the defense and netted the final goal of the game and the tournament.
Now the U15 girls will join the U17 Boys for a date in the Far West Regional Championships.
